Got A Freeway Billboard? #Bloganuary Daily Prompt

If I had a freeway billboard, I am not sure what it would say, but it is something I think about it from time to time. When I drive the busy highway near my home I cannot help but notice the empty billboards that are available. I just need to come up with some vibrant colors and a bold font to catch the eye. The empty ones are yellow with black font and the words seem to jump out at me. Part of the reason is probably because they are so simple – much like the infamous “Got Milk?” campaign.

If I had a freeway billboard, it might say, “DontWaitChangeInside.com – Nutrition and Integrative Health Coaching” or “Wellness Optimization! Live a healthier life today!” or ”Lifestyle medicine health coaching – Cue the Confetti!” Catching drivers’ attention is key to spreading the message that small changes lead to big impact. As a lifestyle medicine health coach, reaching out in a big way is crucial, and a billboard would be the perfect attention-grabber to inspire positive, healthy lifestyle changes.

The ideal billboard would have a simple ad that would help people find me and simultaneously make people think about the fact that they own their health and the choices they make every day.

As a lifestyle medicine health coach, I have seen firsthand how small changes can improve a person’s overall well-being. From incorporating more plant-based foods into their diet to finding ways to manage stress and incorporate movement and mindfulness into their daily routine, it is the small steps that lead to big changes. Reaching out to potential clients can be challenging, especially in a world filled with constant distractions and short attention spans.

That’s where the power of a short and punchy call to action on a roadside billboard comes in. It’s a simple yet powerful way to capture the attention of anyone passing by, regardless of age, gender, or background. In fact, studies have shown that billboards can reach up to 93% of Americans, making it one of the most effective forms of advertising. That is nice, but it’s not just about reaching a large audience for building a business. It’s also about engaging them and inspiring them to take action with their health. As an advocate for lifestyle medicine, that is exactly what I want to do.

The potential to reach a wide range of individuals who may be looking for a way to improve their health and well-being . It’s not just about the numbers, it’s about the personal connection that a call to action on a billboard can create. Imagine someone driving by, struggling with their weight or illness, feeling overwhelmed by stress, and seeing my billboard. It’s a simple reminder that they have the power everyday to take control of their health and make positive changes. For someone looking for support and guidance, a billboard could be all they need to take that first step towards a healthier lifestyle.

Of course, some may argue that a roadside billboard is not the most cost-effective or environmentally friendly form of advertising. As a lifestyle medicine health coach, my mission is to reach as many people as possible and empower them to make positive changes in their lives. If a simple call to action on a billboard can help me achieve that, then I believe it is an investment worth making.

So the next time you see a colorful and attention-grabbing billboard on the side of the road, don’t ignore it. Take a moment to read the message and think about how it could affect your life. And if you come across my billboard, remember that you have the ability to start living a healthier life today.

Do you think this billboard would prompt you to think about choices you make to be healthy or consider health coaching for guidance to steer you on your journey to a healthier you?

Lifestyle Medicine Coaching

Maybe I should try a direct question like, “Ready to transform your health?” or “Seeking a healthier lifestyle?” to prompt immediate contemplation. Or incorporate a simple call to action, like “Visit DontWaitChangeInside.com for a healthier you!” to effectively drive action.

“Got ideas?” that might make this freeway billboard better?
